  • Breakfast eaten around  6 or 7 am

  • People in rural arias eat even earlier than that during busy seasons (harvest)

  • Lunch around noon - 2pm

  • Dinner around 7 - 9pm

 

  • Sometimes the spoons are made from sections of a dried gourd shell

  • Mostly just use tortilla without a spoon

 

  • Lots or rice and beans (gallo pinto)

  • Tortilla with every meal

  • Fast food is not common

  • Fritanga (streat food) generally consists of rice and beans (gallo pinto), pork, chicken, meat, cassava, and plantain all grilled together and served with fruit juice.
